The Solar Centaur 40 is a low-power gas turbine unit. This model was developed based on the Saturn series.
The Centaur 40 features a durable and reliable design, developed using proven technologies. This allows some of the most critical components of the unit, such as the combustor, turbine, and support bearings, to have extended service intervals.
This model is used for both power generation and resource transportation in the oil and gas sector. Accordingly, both single-shaft and twin-shaft turbine versions are available. Single-shaft designs have higher resistance to dynamic loads.
The Solar Centaur 40 is equipped with a SoLoNOx combustor. It can operate on both liquid and natural gas fuels. By utilizing lower combustion temperatures, harmful nitrogen oxide emissions in the exhaust gases do not exceed 25 ppm. The turbine outlet temperature is 505°C.
Thanks to the use of modern solutions and materials in the design of the gas turbine's flow path, the service interval is 30,000 hours, significantly reducing maintenance costs and avoiding long downtimes and, as a result, underproduction.
